■We will challenge to gain approval of the ISO 9001/2000 Standard.　2001/03/30

On April 2, we will start challenge to gain approval of the ISO 9001/2000 Standard in target term of March 2002. The ISO 9002 Standard already approved has certified our quality management system applied to linen supply service for hotels and commercial garments cleaning service. The ISO 9001/2000 Standard we challenge will be applied to our all services,
1. Hotel linen supply
2. Commercial garments cleaning
3. Private garments cleaning
4. Hospital linen lease
5. Building maintenance (cleaning)

The ISO 14001 Standard certified of our environmental system has been applied to all of our plants and business works. Adding ISO 9001/2000 Standard approval for us will mean that our whole plants and business works will be managed with ISO 9001 Standard quality and ISO 14001 Standard environment management system.
We believe all customers would appreciate our unending efforts for quality and environment improvements to make our company more reliable.

Since March 20, 2000 when we established a preparation committee, we were applying efforts, with the aim of gaining approval for the ISO 14001 Standard before the fiscal year end of 2000. For two days of March 1 and 2, 2001, the International Standards Certification Center (ISC) strictly examined our environment management system, and on March 28,2001 certified its approval for the ISO 14001 Standard.
The ISO 14001 Standard certified of our system is applied to all of our plants and services in The 1st and 2nd Main Plant, Tamaki Plant, Sage-Main Plant, Sage-Kawasaki Shop, and Sage-Jusco Shin'ise Shop.
We had already been approved of the ISO 9002 Standard for our quality system since March 2000 (Register number JSAQ757), and adding the ISO 14001 Standard approval has established the systems realizing our basic management policy
(1) Establishing quality assurance system to improve customer service, and
(2) Definitely applying unending efforts for preservation of global environment to contribute to lasting development of society.
We are the first one in Japanese linen supply and cleaning service companies winning both approvals for the ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 Standard. This must be a proof for Hakuseisha of its high-grade quality level in Japanese cleaning industry and its positive efforts for preserving the global environment.
